MZEI, I remember making a ton on that one too. (well maybe a half a ton)

MZEI is stirring up a hornets nest though. ( hope he doesn`t get them a mad as QNET got em)

MM`s in a low volume market take the price up quickly on any buying. Short sell all the buyers then tank the stock hard to cover. Doing this they take ALL the profit from the stock and keep the stock price down.

I think this is MZEI`s CEO main complaint. They are using their right to short sell to make an orderly market. But instead of making an orderly market they are stealing all the profit. Keeping the stock price lower than it would other wise be. This forces a start up company to have to make real bad deals to raise funding.

The only thing that will force a MM to cover and go long on a stock is sustained buying. If he can`t get covered on the tank and buying hits it again. He is forced to cover and go long to make a profit from the trade. He will then start to support the price taking on all sellers while holding the price up. That`s when stocks make their huge runs.

Over all market volume is the key.

If MZEI`s CEO can get the MM`s to disclose their short positions they might not be so quick to short sell. This is an election year. MZEI`s CEO timing could not be better. Some pressure from a bunch of pissed off OTC-BB share holders on their congress man or woman. Could change the game forever.
