I am not an expert on cattle, fish yes fresh water fish. I was fortunate enough to live as a youngster close to the north of Canada. Cows well I only knew one called Rosey and she was milked and thought of a pet. The farmers were wheat farmers .
The rest i did not want know about if a chicken was missing or a pig. I heard a pig squeal once it was horrible something, i have totally forgot on purpose.

Farms i knew of were grain farms. The people also had sprinkling of miners who worked in the more distant north.
My family that were in the mining industry left and went to other area's many years ago it was not a good life, tremendous cash then in comparison to the city but not an easy life.
Rosey taught me how difficult cows could be when she would not comply with my grandmothers desires. This is my milk and no i am not giving it to you to put in that metal bucket.
