Oh dear-- you are showing your years, BC. Actually on the list, much to AMmo's horror, were An audition monologue black slacks white shirt black dress shoes sandals JAZZ SHOES. JAZZ SHOES? No, said Ammo. Honey, they're on the list. Why? Well, I don't know, I would guess for movement and dance class. DANCE CLASS? HUh-uh. No way. Hey, you picked this camp, buddy. It's costing us 800 bucks. They want you to dance, you dance. They want you to sing, you are TWEETIE BIRD. You know, kids really don't change. When AMmo was three (I remember writing a story about this on XXXXX in the old kid story days) and I decided he was going to the OLympics as a gymnist because he could climb to the top of anything in the house, he refused to show his legs in the class. He would only wear a pair of grey sweatpants and a little MIckey Mouse sweatshirt every day- and that was it. I also realize that I was right about the talent, but not the expression of it. He is an avid rock climber now. I'll let the camp deal with him on the jazz shoes issue. I wonder if they even make them big enough for his size 12 1/2 feet. (Welcome back)
