hi stock bull, re <component shortages>, i heard vanderslice interview yesterday and understood him to say that there was NOT a component shortage...can you or someone confirm what was actually said? i was doing a few things at once but i thought he said NO shortage and he was quite upbeat about it...as well as the entire interview. dell seems to be performing quite strongly over the last week or so, even on down days for the techs...my gut tells me the qtr will be very positive and we will see a runup in the stock between now and then. in fact, i have added to my position recently and don't plan to budge during all the fed hype. good luck to you. i hope you are well. cheers, GRANOLA

Larry, Hi!! RE: What surprises do you think we will see when earnings are announced? IMO DELL will surprise on the upside...Jim Vanderslice mentioned yesterday "sequential to sequential...weak second quarter year after year..."we are seeing strong growth"... Michael: "ROBUST" again!!! Don Collis was right with this statement: "fast becoming the premier infrastructure hardware provider"...Did you notice yesterday that DELL has 8,000 new customers since February for WEBHOSTING??? At the 1st CC they had 2,000...Now, I'm not very good at math but, that is 2,000 in the first 2 months...and 6,000 in the last 2 months!!! Yes, DELL has been telling us all along they are back on track surprising...IMO...BUY here...I'm not waiting for the number... Best, Kemble
