Pravin re <<Believe me, if Dell wants it, they're gonna have to pay dearly.>>

I am pretty sure there was a federal law passed last year which makes this illegal. The law which was passed stated that an individual can not register a domain name that has value because of name recognition of another party for the purpose of selling it to that party.

That means that if www.intel.com was not registered, I can not buy it with the plan of selling it to Intel Corporation at a much higher price. www.intel.com is only valuable because of Intel's accomplishment so I should not be able to steal that name. It is still OK to register a name like www.business.com just to sell it higher.

Personally, I have always liked .net over .com for many things -- especially when it has a network connotation.
Dell Credit Network -> dellcredit.net is much better than dellcredit.com IMHO.

Pravin.

Did they have either dellduron.com or dellt-bird.com...those are the ones I want.

Re: Are you laughing because...

I'm laughing because it was such a beautiful move. Can you put up a home page there dedicated to the poor performance, data corruption and high costs associated with Rambus?

Dan
