Q is reacting down 3 Euro points or so to the Korean news in Frankfurt trading. You can see the drop at about 11:30 or so.

"the Company may experience modestly lower order levels for its chipsets in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2000"

Compared to what? The second quarter, the fourth quarter, the third quarter, 1998? Moreoever, and more significantly, can I really believe any statement out of Q now? I think that Q played this one very "cute". Now what does Q's words about revenues from w-cdma and cdma2000 mean?

P.S. I see that Roberts has downgraded Q -- I wonder how he feels since he was very very vocal in his defense of Q and was quite simply hung out to dry in a very public manner. Q has shot itself (this bullet went it a little higher then the foot) and managed to embarass one of its most vocal supporters in the process. Not a great display of managing investor expectations. I trust that managing the underlying business is going better then this fiasco.
