john, i still think in the long run, some health care web site will become an important place for physicians. there are many problems that could be solved by a good website catered to physicians. it would save a tremendous amount of time. the problem for companies like HLTH is execution. i think they have good products, but somehow, i don't know why they cannot execute. they're burning a lot of cash right now, and i don't see their products rolling out in my world. there will be one to three major players in this arena. physicians NEED a better way to work their business and the net is the obvious answer. the chasm just seem so wide right now. hell, HLTH could probably use me for a consultant, too. i know the problems. i think they have the solutions. i also think i can help them implement it and make it attractive and look viable to doctors. perhaps the biggest problem is the inertia. once physicians see how much time the system can save and how much easier it would be to do their accounting, that would sell it to all the docs. the bottom line is still the bottom line, and for us, it remains time and money. mike
