Missed all but the open yesterday. Wish I had committed to my "I smell a trap" assertion early in the day. Oh well...

There's a train everyday,
Leaving either way. -- Jackson Browne

I note with interest the action on the S&P 400, an index that attracted many new fans in the last while. It has had 5 nasty days and is down 4%. It did not get the bounce of the 100 and 500.

The NYA coil continues to intrigue me. It is hovering above the lower line of the triangle. The measured move on it is enormous. Ugly stick yesterday.

SOX shelf at 1170 has to cave today. It's just a gut feeling on my part. (Luc, do you ban people for that?)

Utilities. Go ahead, pull up your favorite utilities index. Ugly enough to evoke pity.

BRK.B... Wonder if Buffett has TA people on staff? Sure looks like an H&S to me.

EBAY is coming into buy range soon methinks -g-. It's had no uppy since the breakaway gap off the H&S. Love their space though.

IBM. Nice break of the little trend line that goes back to 5/15 and was tested 4 times previously.

Finally, the 'Ugly Stick Of The Day Award' goes to GE. I think one has to go quite a way back to find an engulfing as engulfing as this engulfing.

MSFT still worries me. Little bull flag on falling volume could pop to complete that inverse H&S and close that gap.

Hope everyone has a spectacular day. --Allan
