Nancy,
I fear that Chris has become as puritanical as his mentor, Brian Valentine. No human, regardless of who they may be, has the right, according to the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ, to judge another human. Judgement, and vengence, belongs ONLY to God Almighty. I have tried to support Chris because he has professed to be a Christian, but I, no longer, can find justification for doing so. Puritanism was wrong in the 1600's, and it is wrong today. Comments such as Chris made, are destined to do only one thing. Repel any possible convert to Christianity that reads, or hears, his words. Our duty, according to the New Testament is to spread the Good News, not assault others with our, sometimes, warped opinions. Bitter, and hurtful, proclamations, do nothing but damage the cause of Christianity.

Hi Nancy, How are you these days? And Alan. I Often wonder how you both are doing and how your children are developing since the incident that caused you all so very much deep pain. You know, I have had a gun held in my face,(about one foot away) while two doped up teenagers held me up and demanded more than I had. I was kinda numb for a few days and then I was spooked for several months thinking about how close I may have been to meeting the Creator. St. Paul had a great attitude about death and leaving the rigors of this world. He would have preferred it! I have a strong desire within me to squeeze evey morsel that this life has to offer. I guess its pretty normal because of the relationships and loved ones that you have to leave behind but we all go out about the same way we are born into this life; Not wanting anything to do with the grim specter of of new experience. God will provide what we really need at the moment. Of that I am certain.

I have decided that many Christians will put the creeds of their religion ahead of what Christianity really is. So many different interpretations, especially the important part when Christ walked the earth. I have never been able though, to find any contention or confusion within myself regarding the works of St. Paul found between the pages of the Bible from Romans to Philemon. God gave Paul the whole instruction book on Christianity through his message of what he called the mystery or the secret held in God's mind since man moved by faith thousands of years ago. Of course, many creed followers will argue til it bloody well drains me if is different than they are taught at their local denominational Church by a blind guide.

Are things wet in Houston? Plenty of rain and more coming here in Oklahoma City. It feels pretty good. Not looking forward to the humidity when the sun finally decides to come out.

Wishing you and your family all the best out of life. Joy and peace and grace to you.

James
