I believe I can safely say that the regulars on this board still consider QCOM a gorilla (of CDMA wireless).

We have seen CSCO drop 40% a couple of times.

I don't think we can find a 75% drop by a gorilla, but I don't think we can find a 2100% rise in one year by a gorilla either.

Do gorillas ever correct 75% from their price highs after attaining that status?

First we would have to find a Gorilla which went up 20x in one year to have an applicable comparision.

The single event that I see dethroning Qualcomm, is if a company managed to implement a 3G network without paying Qualcomm. Since this is the basis of it's gorillahood, I think we would need to see this occurr to refute it....
