HEADLINE: CTI ANNOUNCES THE FIRST UNIT TO BE SHIPPED TO THAILAND

BODY: The following was released today by Computerized Thermal Imaging, Inc. (CTI):

Dear Shareholders:

Many events have occurred since our annual stockholders meeting in February 1996. The first CTI(TM) System has now been sold to Thailand. The first of two payments has been received by CTI and the unit will be shipped on or about April 25, 1996. The climate control room is under construction in Bangkok now. The Thai operator will be the Orchard Hospital in Bangkok under the auspices of the "HEAL FOUNDATION." This is an organization operating with support from the King's medical charity and is under the supervision of Dr. Ladavan Sourannchie, a well known specialist in soft tissue injuries.

LAKE OSWEGO, Ore., April 25 Dr. Ladavan and her two technicians trained on a CTI(TM) System in Jacksonville, Florida and in Howard University Hospital in Washington D.C. at the end of March. Dr. Ladavan has now returned to Bangkok; on her departure she said: "This is the machine I've been seeking for 5 years. The CTI(TM) System will ratify the merging of East and West in the practice of medicine." Our TRW engineer/technician will travel to Thailand with the system to install and "burn the unit in." We have some concern about Bangkok's electrical power stability and so we are installing an UPS (uninterruptable power supply) and leaving the TRW engineer in Bangkok for a period of time to insure performance.

CTI places great importance on Thailand and the surrounding markets. We expect our system will make a great impact on the Thailand medical community. After a few months of operation in Thailand we expect to place a large number of units throughout the country (pop. 72,000,000). CTI is structuring a strategic partnership for future projects in Thailand.

China continues to be an expanding opportunity for CTI. Several positive high level meetings both in China and in the United States have occurred and will impact our direction in China. In the coming months there will be significant new developments that will affect both our market size and influence in China and surrounding countries.

Originally the CTI(TM) System that was installed at Beijing's Friendship Hospital, in October 1995, was to be for demonstration purposes only. Since December 1995, the hospital has logged 100's of patients and the system has become a significant source of revenue for our China operations. To date several cancer cases have been
identified.

Your management is very encouraged by the progress made so far during 1996. Our focus has been and will continue to be increasing the value of the shares that you own. We are continuing to pursue NASDAQ status and will report to you on a timely basis. We appreciate your support and confidence in your company.

Sincerely,

CTI, Inc.

We do not consider the sales to CTI International as actual sales but an attempt to make transactions appear as sales. We believe COII managememt misled the public suggesting the transactions with CTI International are actually sales.
