'Copper root' is more apt than you know.

Here in the country there is a trick to get rid of a tree you do not want, usually a tree on someone else's property. Take a copper nail or two and drive into low into the tree or a major root. CHEM 101 will tell you what happens over time.

Coulda swore I heard heard "root" and was thinking of an agricultural analogy--"root rot"...and took it to mean that once the price of copper falls off that signals the end of the bull...same idea, different directional analogy...<ggg>

Who knows if it's still valid...
