Excellent point. With every CDMA phone in Korea, the US, and Japan being upgraded over the near term as service providers upgrade from cdmaOne to 1X CDMA, the visibility for ASICS is going to be very strong. The move in Korea to entice customers to exchange their handsets for new 3G phones is slap in the face to QCOM's press release today. However, it gives QCOM a month or so to come out with a positive spin on the story and tell everyone that chip sales in Korea are fine by the time of the EPS conference call.
