Larry,
I tend to agree with your guess. They don't want anything to interfere with their Veritas deal, and hard cash is far more important to them than Sandisk stock right now, whatever the future prospects may be.

Sandisk just dropped to 55 or so on huge volume. I am hopeful that that volume was Seagate selling a big block or two to someone, who may well unload it in the high 50s in smaller bunches. May it be their last batch of stock!

Time will tell.
