What's worse is that Intel will make a bunch of noise about the Pentium 4 during their CC on 7/18 -- the day before AMD announces -- and analysts will once again be convinced that the death of AMD is imminent.

Intel Announces Pentium© 4 Brand Name For New Microprocessor

I guess that is the reason for AMD's weakness right now


The market doesn't seem to make big deal about it : just look at INTC volume today : roughly 6 millions... it is really under the average. It seems that it has something to do with flash but what? And why Intc isn't more affected?
