Adios you poor little dupe, you were used by both Castro and Clinton.

And the Cuban exile community.

You survived a titanic struggle that claimed your closest family. You fought and won against sharks and the elements.
For your efforts you are now sentenced to a living death in communist Cuba.

Check back in 20 years to see if a) Cuba is still Communist or b) Elian is still there.

I wonder if the goons that will take over, after Castro dies, will be better or worse than Fidel? At least now, even though Cubans have few freedoms, they aren't starving to death like those in North Korea.

Look at the good side: The children that came to keep Elian company, who the Cuban government forcibly removed from their parents, will now be reunited with their parents (depending upon Fidel's whims).
