Perhaps a bit strong. But Itanium is still searching
for a segment and those folks in Redmond sure aren't
helping.

So maybe we see a whole lot of Itanium Linux action
in December.

We'll see.

And no , my job isn't in jeopardy. Not at all. I work
with a real operating system. There will always be
a market for one of the finest OSes until others catch
up and then the finest OS is only 8 years ahead of the
competition. Hint: This OS has been shipping clusters
since 1983.
