I thought AMD had sold their flash production a year forward? Presumably there was a contract involved here and the buyers can't just walk away even if the price tanks. A year seems like plenty of time to switch FAB capacity to other things if flash is in the pan (which I do not believe).

That's true...who said investors are that astute...this sell off is knee jerk...last Friday SSTI was worth $115 and now its only worth $76. Give me a break!

The way I look at this whole thing is that its a buying opp until someone tells me we are going into a recession for sure next year.

BTW MTSN is off 5 this AM because its making a purchase that will increase its product line (read diversify) and will be accretive to the bottom line. Go figure! Picking up some more shares as we speak.
