Excellent point. It does depend on cui bono, doesn't it? The insurance companies want to make sure everyone has insurance. The doctors and hospitals want to make sure that everyone is able to pay their bills. The government wants more tax money. All the consumer wants is health care. By the way, one of the big funders of the research that led to the health care debacle early in the first Clinton administration was (drum roll, please) - the Kaiser Foundation!!!! Coincidence?:)
