I don't quite understand AKAM and ISLD technology.
How would that be effected with a Totally Fiber Optic Internet. Would they benefit from that...? Or would they be obsolete...? My understanding of AKAM and ISLD is it's like a local server? Sort of a Local (cache) Page server? Would that be necessary if fiber was to your doorstep?
