Had to respond, it tickles me to no end that I agree with you 100%. This is just bare-knuckled, hard-nosed business. You simply must take every advantage and make advantages, whenever and wherever possible in a highly competitive business.

Sorry for missing the Gresham reference, I don't get to read as much fiction as I would like and am not familiar with his works (I know that he wrote The Firm and similar novels but have not read them or even watched the movies).

What orcl did was very very low.

"I'm not shocked at all. In fact, I don't see what all the fuss is about. If, e.g., Oracle were contemplating suing Microsoft in a private antitrust suit, I think evidence gathered by such an investigation might even be admissible, and I don't doubt that many such investigations have been conducted for just such purposes.
