I was merely pointing out some of the realities of the statistics. Each of us can draw whatever conclusions we choose. Enough money and we could be maintained in a coma.

edit: it does seem that these countries have more restrictive immigration policies, more restricted borders (some being islands) and more homogeneous populations. These would be different comparisons.

Just ignored this, huh? Future life expectancy is actually more important than a misleading snapshot now... unless you are running actuarial tables for the life insurance industry.

It'll be a moot point, soon Dan, as in the next 50 years U.S. life expectancy will climb to 160 to 200 years.
