Hi thread,

Lastly, keep in mind, when employees of multi-billion dollar companies go out on long-term leave, their own companies hire private investigators to monitor them. Ask any high level Human Resource professional.

Who do think pays these high priced private investigation firms; certainly not the average guy. These folks make as much as high priced attorneys. Investigation work is big business and will just keep on growing with all the new technologies that are now available.

MSFT is making a big issue out of this and to date nothing illegal was done.

P.S: This was the same firm that Bill Clinton used to investigate the Republican party after they sacked him with over $10 million dollars worth of U.S. taxpayers paying for a stupid investigation. I would say that they did a good job in both cases. I would hire them if I ever need them; of course I could not afford their rates. $1,000.00 for pure garbage is a little expensive my taste.
