"What else is new." Big reputations are made by restating the obvious. Wasn't it President Harding that said "Layoffs cause un-employment" (or something to that effect). Lets hope KLIC does not make any more positive announcements before the earnings are announced. Regards, Jerome

Here's the first downgrade for the entire semi sector. Salomon predicts peak will be in put in place this calendar year. Soon, other analysts will dutifully follow suit. Forward earnings estimates will be lowered, and all the attractive valuation models talked about on this thread will get shredded once earnings estimates are lowered. Notice how I was 2 months early compared with the vaunted analysts. The next time an analyst makes me money will be the first. I suggest to the group to seriously consider discounting analyst opinions in the future. They never get the timing right. cbs.marketwatch.com
