OK maybe the play needs to be explained at length, just in case it comes up again.

They did a 5000:1 reverse split, howver witht he stipulation that anyone owning 100 shares or more would not be left with less than 100 shares.

So if you had 100 shares before reverse, you have 100 after. If you had 50,000 before, you have 100 after.

Some companies opt to send cash equivalents to anyone that will own fractional shares after a reverse split. In this case they would need to send me a check for about 32 cents.

I have no idea why they opt to do this, but it can sometimes be an easy way to make a quick buck. Other times it takes months to have the whole thing worked out properly and you pretty much lose whatever money you put in.

OR, the stock never trades again. I have one of those from last august. It's still listed but never trades. Has changed symbols about 5 times since then.
