Sure, I can appreciate that.

I no longer trade stocks short term.....actually, I started out trading stock short term over twenty years ago, and stock options in the early 1980s.

But now I do not have much time for it.

From time to time I play stock options, but generally nekkid puts. It entails a bit of risk, so I do not do it much. Strictly speaking, I prefer to write if I do anything at all. In the case of CSCO, I imagine if I was prone to believe that the stock would have a negative slope I probably would have written calls with a hedge by buying into a calendar spread or buying calls a few strikes out.

Generally speaking, I'm not in your position. I don't know the industry so I'd pass on speculation.
