LOL, from Fleck's "up-ness" notebook...

Summer school. . . Here's a little brain teaser. Guess which company is responsible for the following numbers and what its main business group is:

------------------1997 1998 1999
Revenues --------$22.6 $23.8 $25.3
Operating Profit $11.1 $9.4 $11.4

All figures in billions.

Here's a hint: The stock has gone from roughly $35 at the end of 1997 to $140 recently.

If you answered INTC, you get a gold star (although you get demerits if you bought it recently). Those less-than-stellar results for its architecture (i.e., processor) group certainly don't seem to jibe with the move in the stock price. Reality awaits.
