Tom, seriously, CNBC is part of the momentum machine
they are a fan of anything that moves up
they ridicule anything that moves down
and they act as though the penguin routine plays out in a foreign land
CNBC IS ONE OF THE PENGUINS, somewhere in the middle of the pack

I have detected a noticeable change (subtle) in CNBC's reporting of QCOM
they dont use such deep intonation when describing the decline
they dont drive their point home with two/three rejoinder comments
they seem actually to be tippytoeing on the QCOM story

today at 6pm Sue Herrera (nice facelift) did responsibly report that despite two past Korean govt decrees to eliminate cellphone subsidies, the decrees made little impact on QCOM's sales to that nation
personally, I hypothesize that CNBC has taken some bigleague heat for their enjoyment of Q's decline

if and when QCOM gets traction moving up, like past 100, CNBC will marvel and repeat their incredible turnaround, over and over and over and over again for the next six months
mark my words, VoltBreath
