Now, my questions, 1) How is the "Health Grade" related to the "Z" score?; and 2) Why do you sound so negative over a very positive "Z" score?

Bob, I was just presenting posts by Auric Goldfinger from his thread "Auric Goldfinger's Short List":
Subject 19673
WSTL obviously had become a candidate to short as "sell the pig" and was presented on his thread on April 24.

Auric has come on the WSTL thread from time to time saying that WSTL stock was a pig and would be brought down. I remember to 10. I started to give him credence after a post I received on Jun 12:
Message 13871696

It could have been coincidence but his post was followed by huge and relentless selling of Westell in high volume -- over 4 million shares. This is a pattern that has recurred throughout June, and seems to come in waves. John Curtis also noticed this.

In looking over his thread, I was just presenting some references he made to WSTL. I am not familiar with Z scores. Good or bad, all the information came from Auric. There are other posts as well if you scan the thread.

My approach is much more simplistic. Westell is making and selling a good product, that is growing explosively in demand. The growth of its earnings will eventually win out. Why there is such excessive downward manipulation of the stock price in the presence of "good news" tells me that I am not seeing something. It seems that there are indeed shorts with an agenda aggressively driving the stock down. They have the resources to control the stock action even in the presence of some good news such as today.

If you have keener insight, please share.
