NOK falls further in Europe to US$48.45. See, there is a big problem brewing in EUROPE for all the Telecoms because their governments are ripping them off to get the new spectrum required to handle the awkward migration path from GSM to 3G. They could solve all of this by simply doing the CDMA overlay on the 3G network as proposed by QCOM. But they won't do this because they are socialist monopolies that can simply pass their totally rediculous conversion costs on to the average european serf who is happy as long as he gets free medical care and a 1 month annual vacation.

Don't forget something hugely important: IDCC. It is coming to NOK's rescue with brand-spanking new CDMA IPR that doesn't require use of Q's essential patents and has developed SoCs that are now flowing like water into the marketplace.

That was a joke.
