Doug,

My best guess is that it will bounce around due to the 'Sprint residue' and speculation about Bernie's next move. Perhaps the stock bounce over the past two days was helped by speculation that WCOM would not go after another wireless property but instead divest itself of long distance and concentrate on the business/internet market. Everyone loves their UUNET backbone business and it is providing high growth. I'm actually astounded at the pounding T has taken. Just about cut in half in a few months. I've read that Bell Atlantic has already taken 8% of the LD business in my area, so maybe things have been crumbling a bit faster than expected for T in LD. They do have wireless though, and are making the big moves in cable.

Regards,
John
