Ram: OT. Thanks for the link. Some of that stuff has got me interested. Also, I'm eyeballing a MP3 styled device, about the size of a cigarette pack, which has about 4.7 Gig's of memory. Using certain software, and a CD drive available on damn near all computational devices these days, you can store a goodly number of CD's(a hundred or more). Jeeezus....I can envision the day, rapidly approaching, when you'll be able to store your entire CD collection on just such an itty-bitty device.

As an urban dweller who walks everywhere a device like this has a certain attraction. You know....walking along the sidewalks with your own personal soundtrack playing in your ears. ;-) Indeed, it has adapters on it which allow you to use it in your car. I tell ya; ain't technology grand?

The only thing holding me back right now on it? It doesn't have a friggin' RADIO in it!! This is the problem with a number of MP3 type players. All that sophistication to provide you with down-loadable music, and no radio!! How difficult can it be to add it, eh? ;-) Ahhh, well, one must have a product migratory path, I suppose....

Anyway, thanks again for the URL!

John~
