Tony-Added 3000 at 53.25. My first 2000 shares were bought at 22.5 so i am still in great shape. This market is going to churn like this all summer and then rally in the Fall thru the election. Thats how I see it. I think we can rally LSI in Fall from higher levels than we are now seeing.

Tony, Although not a stalwart I hope my purchase triggered the end of this decline in LSI. So far so good. I did the same thing with AMAT and actually took profits there at the highs. I believe market will churn away this summer and then rally. During the churning period LSI will move back to 70's and then launch to 100-110 by Christmas. We would have to move into a serious recession to alter my view. I don't believe that Greenspan will raise rates in week old economy environment just to shave inflation by a half point or so. He owes Clinton/Gore and probably prefers a Gore victory anyhow. Bush still impresses me and many other essentially conservative folks as a nitwit and unless he can convince me that he can surround himself with Kennedy quality staff I believe we will have to live with Al. And Greenspan can control Al.

LSI had a filing today with the SEC concerning a convertible offering - is this the offering from last year that they pulled and are now thinking about issuing? Or something else?
