It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. The volume today must be at least that of the last many months combined. My eyes glazed over when I read the offering document, but it sounded like the value of the spin-off shares is 9 cents, so a 4 for 1 would give us a 2 cent stock. The MMs will love the spread on this one. If I'm not mistaken, this dividend is taxable, so I don't want a lot of value assigned to it initially.
