That's what all the "reinevntions" are all about - AlGore needs to become anybody but himself. Like with Hillary, all the GOP needs to do is to provide an attractive alternative in order to win. And with George Bush, the supremely popular and able governor of Texas, the GOP has that in spades. Sure, the media will try to resuscitate AlGore as they did time and time again with Clinton but the American people have had enough. As Mort Kondracke recently observed: After almost eight years of Clinton, Americans want a shower and AlGore is going down the drain.
