I'm with you sister, our garden club was known for hiring all the work that had to be done...women didn't want dirt under their finger nails! Our idea of working for the garden club was to call and get estimates!

We usually met, and first order of business was to decide where we were going to lunch that day!

Funniest story of our garden club was a friend of mine, the woman whose daughter was just married in Texas, bought napkins and kept telling the man about the pretty tulips on the napkins and how well they would work for out garden club....the man listened to this and finally asked her what garden club she belonged to...when she told him, he only said, "Oh, I thought so, those are daffodils!"
