Yes, certainly prostitution laws vary from region to region. But I was wondering about these closet pedophiles, the ones who join groups like NAMBLA. In my state we had a guy arrested last week, accused of molesting 250 elementary school boys. Perhaps this type of sick bastard can't be classified as either homo or heterosexual...

The sex tour business is alive and well in Thailand, and in the Philippines, and in a number of other Asian countries. The AIDS situation has actually worsened the child exploitation situation, due to the mistaken impression that the young are less likely to be infected. Both heterosexuals and homosexuals are served; I wouldn't be able to say which is more numerous. I'm not sure it matters much.

The laws here are the same as the laws there, but money can persuade the authorities to look elsewhere.
