patchman, many people do not want to hold into earnings, the sells are mostly retail.

Regards,

Tom

Patchman,
I broke one of my rules today and refused to sell out my long
positions when the 60 min chart broke to the downside of a
symmetrical triangle formation. Also, the indicators looked rather negative.
However, I have been thinking that this might be one of those
sell the rumor, buy the fact deals. Often I have noticed actions before an anticipated news event to be opposite of the reaction following the release of the news. I think the
purpose of this is to shake out any longs sitting on the fence. Also, the price action today seemed to do everything but throw in the kitchen sink in order to persuade shaky longs to sell. Right down to the last minute. The price action had me wanting to bail but
something smelled to me like market manipulation so I just hung in there. This would have been a good day to shut the
computer off and fergedaboudit.<g>
We shall see soon I expect.
Good luck.
