Actually, he was not convicted in criminal court. I believe he was found liable in civil court - it was proven there.

The point is that OJ did not need any conviction to be a murderer. He became a murderer when he murdered his ex wife.

Scenario: If someone rapes your 6 year old daughter, is he a rapist? If someone murders your 6 year old daughter, is he a murderer? Or do you need to wait for the "government or judicial system" to tell you he is a rapist and murderer.
