Websters felony ['fe-le-ne] pl: -nies : a crime that has a greater punishment imposed by statute than that imposed on a misdemeanor specif : a federal crime for which the punishment may be death or imprisonment for more than a year emphasis added to show Zooty that the term "felony" is meaningless without a legislature to define what a felony is and is not. A person cannot be a "felon" without satisfying each and evey requirement of a given criminal statue. Zooty is schooled again. Even a rodeo clown knows more about the law than ZooTan. BTW: where did you get your J.D.? They may want it back.
