Hmmm, you know I don't want to sound like a skeptic, because this sounds really great - but economically speaking how does Hawaii rank compared to the mainland as far as $$ per capita... it just seems like the numbers could be a little skewed - similar to say, Las Vegas city limits, where you have a large influx of cash from tourism and very little in the way of surrounding infrastructure to support, at least people-wise.

I am betting that there is a size limit on companies that Hawaii requires to provide health insurance to employees, and an exemption for the self-employed.
