Anybody remember what alias that U. of C. professor used? I'd like to read some of his posts to see how an illustrious academic grounded in empiricism reacted when faced with the reality of one of his investments issuing these satanic convertibles.

Turnip farmer? You appear to have made a radical career change since your days laboring in the fields. Pray tell.

Now that concepts are patentable in fact, if not in theory, perhaps one or all of us might apply for a patent on floorless convertibles. If we controlled the use of the floorless convertible, maybe we could make sure that the CFO's of all companies considering using it are educated thoroughly about its dangers. This would put a crimp on the bandits business, which I would enjoy seeing. Maybe we could even get a royalty from them each time a floorless is issued.
