This afternoon just goes to show you how fragile investor confidence is in Compaq. One downgrade with unsubstantiated data and its a stampede to the exits. Almost like someone shouting FIRE! in a dark theater, then giggling safe in his seat while watching the victims of his prank crush and fall over each other trying to funnel through the exit door. SSB has, at least, confirmed that Compaq management has a long way to go in proving themselves to investors. Buddy
