You know, I would agree with you about the surface perceptions. But that will only affect AMD in the very short term.

Until the proving time comes...

At which point Intel better hope for no screw ups or even bad luck because they can't afford any more damage to their credibility.

The mere fact that they feel the need to make such an announcement of an announcement of a limited release so that "it will be set in stone" shows just how little they can afford a credibility hit.

That is why it may seem bold on the surface but in reality it seems very short sighted and panicked.

I prefer the calm confidence, (or is it silent determination?) of AMD!
