But the more people look at the financial world our way, the more it becomes imbedded in the prices. OTOH, I'm sure you're right about the fact that LTB&H will never be really popular. It's interesting that studies have shown that while investors may talk a LTB&H game, few actually live it. From my personal prospective, one of the most valuable things the gg has given me is to switch my emphasis from price to position in the technology cycle. You can still get sandbagged, but it's a more rational process than depending mainly on price.
In defense of analysts, some of them are pretty smart. It's just that the retail customer is far down on their list of priorities. Investment banking and institutional clients come first, you and I come last. I try to read their reports in two parts - fact and opinion. I discount part of the first and ignore the second.
