Gersh, don't know if you are talking about the spoos or SPX, but SPX closed down 2.33 on 9-1-94.

the range was high - 475.49, low- 471.74, closed 473.17.

vol - 2,830,000

I have to run out for a haircut and that screen is on another computer than is not "up" at the moment.

As Challo says, it closed negative. But after the gap down and early drop the best trade was Long all day. Because it kept trying to get higher all day. As I recall it did not drop off at the end, closing near it's Highs.
