Just happened to me too, Janice. To get it back, go to the header message of the thread, remove the subjectmark, then bookmark it again.

This is really stupid.

me too, exactly. everything out of order. proteomics had floated to the top with a new message. I clicked on it, and *poof*, no more subject mark. Have tried re-subject marking, but no go.
