Look you guys there are other remedies for shareholders. Corporations are truley a democratic thing and if you own shares you can vote. Let's get together and replace management. It won't be that hard to do and it will provide some value to all of the suffering. If you sell your stock and do not vote against management you are not acting responsibily.

I am going to propose again what I mentioned here in my earlier April posts. This company should be combined with a stronger, more ethical management. My first choice is Crew Development (clearly company builders, not strippers)and I can tell you that as SJD's partner at Hwini-Butre, they are very much aware of this shareholder situation. Indeed I can tell you that as a shareholder I have been encouraging them (without success to date) to take a run at it.

Obviously because of the poison pills, and now this heavy handed dilution in favor of management, they will need very strong support from us to succeed. The key would probably be the remaining institutions in the stock and I don't know who they are.

The other problem is that the cash (was 64 cents a share) this company has is being systematically drained away from shareholders. If this continues we will soon have a death watch on our hands. Hwini-Butre is an unknown but most knowledgeable people I've talked to rate it as basically a promising prospect not a minable deposit. In this market that's not worth much.

In sum I would now be willing to accept a stock swap into CRU shares at a price that reflects at least the cash value (which has now been diluted below 60 cents). This situation has gotten so egregious for us that I wonder now if we can expect much for Hwini-Butre? My wish number would be 2 shares CRU (trades around 1.25) for 3 shares SJD.

I tried this campaign with nominal success in April. Here are the contacts if you desire to encourage Crew:
phone 800 444 9284, ask for or leave a message for Peter Barnes CFO or John Darch CEO. Identify yourself as a SJD shareholder. Or e mail them at catherine@crewgroup.com , be sure to address to Darch or Barnes.
