We could argue semantics, but there's no point. I accept that you interpret it one way, and I interpret it another. If he loads task manager, he can tell how much memory is used by the app. He can also kill it and determine if his system comes back to normal.

I'm also having the same problems with SI. Pretty annoying.

Mike

Dear Charles: No, you are NOT alone. SI has been screwed up for me for two days now. The "subjects" keep jumping around in their order, when I go to replie I have to use my mouse to move that marker from quotes to the replie box etc etc. Dont know what their problem is but wish they would cut it out. Dear Charles: Your SUNW subject mark is still probably on your list, merely out of place. My list of subjects now starts with the CSCO thread followed by STM. Assuming there must be some logic to the scrambled ordering, I took a few, random looks at the threads. It appears subjects are now being sorted by when the thread was started rather than by it's name.

Although this "new" sorting is very annoying, I'm finding it interesting to see that threads for STM, VRTS, NTAP, EMC--and even QCOM--were started before the SUNW thread.

Regards,

Lynn, back for 2 days

Charles - I ahve also experienced some wierdness - I go to the end of a subject list instead of the beginning of the new thread when I click on my new subject material. At least it's fast <GG> but it requires a little effort to actually see new posts.
