If, in fact, the father is mentally incompetent, I question whether it is in the best interests of the child to have him as sole caretaker. At any rate, in September the child will be attending school, and her condition will be scrutinized by teachers and school administration. Is this man capable of insuring that the child attends school on a timely basis, with proper clothing and adequate nutrition? If the school teacher has concerns, how will he deal with them? Silicon investor truncated the sentence, it should end with a question mark, but for some reason it doesn't. Now it does. Weird.
